Thin Crust Pizza w/ Sauteed Shrimp, Olives and Feta Cheese
1. I sauteed fresh shrimp in butter seasoned w/ Oregano and Basil in a frying pan until the shrimp had the gorgeous pink color. I chopped the shrimp into small pieces to easily spread around the pizza and kept the butter sauce.
2. I Flattened fresh pizza dough on a 11 by 17 inch cookie sheet and with the extra butter sauce, I spread the sauce onto the dough so that it could cook with the pizza dough.
3. After partially cooking the pizza dough w/ butter sauce and taking it out of the oven, I placed my very own tomato sauce made with oregano, basil and garlic on the pizza crust and began to layer the pizza with mozzarella and feta cheese, black olives and the sauteed shrimp. I placed it back into the oven and the above picture was what came out!
Overall, this pizza was truly amazing with every ingredient working soooooo well with each other. Since I don't drink alcohol/wine, apple cider was the best compliment for this dish and for any Italian dish I eat LOL.
