1) First slice the bell peppers thinly, and the onions in half moons, then separate the moons, into super small onion slices. Next, slice the meat on an angle, and smash it with your knife to tenderize it. In a big pan, heat vegetable oil,(about two tablespoons) to sear meat and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder while searing.
2) While meat is cooking, mix about a cup of Beef Broth with two or three big spoonfuls of cornstarch, mix with a spoon to make a thick paste.
3) After meat is fully cooked, add onions and bell peppers. Let the vegetables cook until translucent. Add cornstarch and beef broth mixture to vegetables and beef.
4) Let the Cornstarch and beef broth mixture thicken for about three to five minutes, while stirring.
Served over brown rice, the meat was very tender, and the bell peppers, although cooked, still had nice crunch to them. The onions were "stringy," but was nice to wrap around a fork full. Gravy was nice and thick, which really brought out the flavor in the beef.
Overall, very tasty with the thickened gravy. If you would like a different consistency with the gravy, I would try a touch of beef broth and a slight addition of corn starch for a more fluid gravy.
